Reagan's Face On The $50 Bill? Someone Says, "Yes!"
Well well well....
You know, I was going to talk about that assclown Jim Bunning, Repug Senator from Kentucky, who stalled unemployment benefits for AMERICAN WORKERS who needed it (either because he was pissed about not being helped in a re-election bid (Moot, since he's now retiring; probably because of that), he missed a sports event and was pissed over THAT, or he's just a dick. I'm leaning toward the last one).
But, no, I'm not going there. Yet.
Today, I bring you news of yet another Repug stooge, who has a bunch of free time, since all other problems with the country are now fixed.
Rep. Patrick McHenry, Repug from North Carolina, wants to put Ronald Reagan's face on the $50 dollar bill.
Yep, Take Grant (a General during the Civil War, and ACTUAL war hero) OFF, and put Ronnie (Who mainly played military types in movies, and was responsible for the LARGEST DEFICIT WE HAD UP UNTIL THAT POINT) ON.
Mc.Henry written statement, “Every generation needs its own heroes; one decade into the 21st century, it’s time to honor the last great president of the 20th and give President Reagan a place beside Presidents Roosevelt and Kennedy.”
Funny, I thought Clinton (Jobs, revenue surplus, EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD BASICALLY LIKED US) was the "Last great President of the 20th Century".
The Repugs tried this before, by the way....when they controlled Congress in 2005, in fact. But, it died in the House Financial Services Committee.
While I might not see an actual $50 in my wallet anytime soon, I still say, "Knock it the Hell off, and work on REAL issues!"

Interesting stuff...but no real surprise...dumbass Republicans WORSHIP washed up actor Reagan (and they attempt to poke fun at how we supposedly 'worship the Messiah' Obama? PLEASE!)...I was hoping you would be posting commentary on the recent snorkeling adventures of Eric Massa (or at least his 'interview' with assclown Glen Beck...you really should do more on Beck, that patheti8c crybaby moron!!...;)

If they were to put Reagan on a bill, make it a bill only those who benefited from him will see. Not something regular people sometimes get their hands on. At least they arent trying for the 10 dollar bill right? I'd probably burn all my Reagan dollars.
They also wanted to put his face on Mt. Rushmore, too.
God, WTF is wrong with these clowns?!
Simply, no. We are in this global financial crisis largely because of the deregulation that President Reagan championed.
I think it's because they have nothing 'REAL' that they want to deal with....I keep seeing things about how this or that Repub is 'championing this or that', which isn't really connected to any real trouble we're having.
It's like they NEED to work to keep their jobs, but they don't want to DO the work, if that makes any sense.
Grant was an alcoholic who did not notice his "finds" selling off the white house furniture. I'll take Clinton.
